Our services are at the heart of the Shul and reflect our inclusive, warm approach. Walking into Highgate Shul, you’ll be greeted by the friendly smiles of our community members. As a United Synagogue Shul our services are conducted in Hebrew, with siddurs (our prayer books) providing a Hebrew and English text.
Shabbat is a highlight of our week, offering a chance to disconnect from the bustle of everyday life and reconnect with our spiritual selves, our families, and our community. The Shabbat morning service is followed by a communal Kiddush.
Each Yom Tov brings its unique services, customs and traditions. In addition to services, the Shul often hosts communal meals and dedicated educational programmes over Yomim Tovim.
We are looking for members to join our Haftorah Rota. We would particularly like to encourage those who haven’t done one since their Bar Mitzvah to join.
Please contact the Shul if you are interested.
